Amir Abdullahian: In my quarantine house, but consultations and efforts to pursue the rights of the nation have not stopped

According to Fars News Agency’s Foreign Policy Group, Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian wrote in an Instagram post tonight (Monday):

In recent days, with coronary heart disease, on the advice of doctors in my quarantine house, but this does not mean that diplomatic consultations and efforts to pursue the rights of the Iranian people have stopped. Over the past few days, in telephone conversations with my counterparts, including the foreign ministers of Russia, China, Azerbaijan, Iraq, Syria, Britain, Turkey, and Germany, I have continued to discuss bilateral, regional, and international issues.

He added: “These talks will continue in the coming hours and days.”

Amir Abdullahian added: “I am very grateful to all the loved ones who have expressed their gratitude these days and asked about my health condition.” I hope that with the end of the period of contracting this disease, I will be successful and return to work quickly and work with more energy than before in order to realize the interests of the great nation of Iran.

He also wrote: “Also, my Instagram page has been transferred to the current account at AmirabdollahianHossein, and I will try to report regularly on the activities of myself and my colleagues to the dear nation of Iran.”

According to Fars, the British Foreign Secretary also had a telephone conversation with Amir Abdullahian today. (Read here)
