An insurance consortium is formed for Iranian pilgrims and citizens traveling to Iraq


According to the Iran Economist, quoting the General Directorate of Public Relations and International Affairs of the Central Insurance, in a joint meeting held at the Office of Border Affairs and Passive Defense of the Ministry of Interior with representatives from the Ministry of Interior, Central Insurance, Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Roads and Transportation Organization A road was held to provide the necessary conditions to cover the pilgrims of Atbat-e-Aliat. It was emphasized that the Central Insurance, in cooperation with the Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, should create the necessary culture to inform the public about the need for insurance when traveling.
The establishment of an insurance consortium to insure Iranian pilgrims and citizens traveling to Iraq was another resolution of the meeting.
Therefore, according to the report, the insurance companies were obliged to station their representatives in the border terminals and remind the Iranian citizens of the obligation to purchase insurance policies before the trip through environmental advertisements.
