He announced the implementation of various cultural programs on the occasion of these days at the level of 22 regions and added: the autumn crossing of the roads with programs such as Hafez reading, storytelling, impersonation reading, marquee play, puppet show, etc., creating urban atmosphere. By setting up Yalda tables as well as performing the stage and activities of cultural booths in squares, passages, parks and urban spaces, it will give Tehran a Yalda flavor.

He went on to say: holding cultural competitions for women and teenagers, Yaldai photo exhibition, holding a youth festival for familiarizing children with Iranian customs and traditions on this night, Yalda tourism by sending young people and teenagers to historical places and touring the city of Tehran, as well as the Yaldai exhibition. By introducing Iranian customs and traditions, the relatives are part of the programs prepared in the halls of the neighborhoods of Tehran on the occasion of these days.

He also explained the programs of mosques and religious places during these days, from the collective recitation of Surahs of Kauthar, Kasa and mentioning the hadiths of Hazrat Zahra (PBUH) under the title of Mother Sadat’s memory, the distribution of offerings and the donation of Yaldai packages to the needy under the title of Fatimid vows, as well as Yalda ceremony was held with the presence of the families of the martyrs and dusting of the graves of the martyrs.

Director General of Cultural Affairs of Tehran Municipality, while pointing to the implementation of Yalda programs in important and busy places of Tehran city, reminded: in popular places such as the subway, Citizen stores, intercity terminals, Abbas Abad lands, Milad Tower, and fruit and vegetable squares as well. Referring to Yalda Mehrabani programs with the aim of promoting empathy and altruism, he added: cultural programs and special celebrations will be held for children of welfare centers, especially for street cleaners in the city, as well as among the residents of hothouses and nursing homes.

In this direction, 200 working children from the 11th district of Tehran will visit the Quran Museum and experience a friendly and happy atmosphere by holding a party and giving gifts. Also, in line with the special programs of these days, Yaldai poetry night will be held at Milad Tower in Tehran with the presence of international students of Tehran universities in order to promote Persian culture and literature.

In the end, the General Director of Culture of Tehran Municipality pointed to the unveiling of three world cultural heritage registers in Durhami Yalday Shemiran and noted: This special program, which is held in the cultural and historical complex of Saad Abad, includes the unveiling of three world registers of Iran’s cultural heritage, oudnavazi, shab Yalda, Turkmen needlework, setting up Yalda stalls for children and Hafez reading, Shahnameh reading and reciting, puppet show, museum visit, distribution of balloons and Yalda gifts and story books for children.
