While the voices of the opponents of occasional tourism are heard in the country and there is still resistance to accept tourism, Ayatollah A’rafi, the director of seminaries across the country, delivered a message on the occasion of World Tourism Day and announced the readiness of seminaries to help culture, develop and promote the tourism industry. کرد.

According to ISNA, the message of Ayatollah Alireza Arafi, who is also a member of the Guardian Council and a member of the Assembly of Experts on Leadership, has met with a positive response from tourism activists, especially since negative comments about tourism and obstacles are still prevalent. It has become a taste in some areas.

The message, published by the Hawza news agency, reads:

«أفلم یسیروا في اردز فتکون لهمقلوب

World Tourism Day is an opportunity to appreciate the efforts of tourism industry activists and emphasize the importance of developing this industry in our beloved country Iran. The intersection of this influential day with the forties of Hosseini can be a good start to link the country’s tourism to our rich cultural and religious heritage. In this regard, it is possible to take advantage of the existing facilities to develop this global movement, to institutionalize peace and to bring closer the hearts of all freedom-loving human beings.

The tourism industry today is not only a tool to facilitate travel, but also the most important factor in the dialogue of cultures and acquaintance with their history and civilization. Islamic Iran, with its several thousand years of history and authentic culture, has always been of interest to tourists. The registration of 24 historical / cultural monuments and 2 natural monuments from Iran in the UNESCO World Heritage confirms that the tourism capacity of the country can be well utilized with proper planning and management. This precious legacy of civilization, which is reflected in the historical, scientific, cultural, artistic and technical relics, in addition to being a source of pride and honor, imposes a very important task on the executive and scientific officials and the people of culture and tourism industry.

Having a clear vision of this field and the correct laying in the direction of its realization promises economic and cultural prosperity and scientific and spiritual growth of the country, but this requires the cooperation of all influential institutions.

Congratulations on World Tourism Day to all activists in this field, and I would like to express my gratitude to them.

“I also wish success to these loved ones and announce the readiness of seminaries, which, as evidenced by history, have played an important role in the scientific and cultural prosperity of Islamic Iran, to help create culture, develop and promote the tourism industry.”

The period of opposition to tourism is over

Mohammad Ibrahim Larijani, a tourism expert who also has a background in tourism management, appreciated this message and the spread of such thinking and approach among religious scholars, while the voice of opposition to tourism is still heard, told ISNA: “Message from the character Banfood and effective in seminaries across the country on the occasion of World Tourism Day, which confirms that the period of opposition to tourism is over.

He added: Ayatollah A’rafi’s message is not limited to religious tourism. In its text, while appreciating tourism activists, it refers to the rich history of Iran for several thousand years and emphasizes that tourism causes dialogue between civilizations. On the other hand, Iran’s capacities to attract foreign tourists are mentioned and the number of Iran’s world monuments is carefully reminded. Payam pays full attention to the tourism industry, with all its ups and downs, from Islamic and religious capacity to history and antiquity. Such a message is from the director of seminaries across the country, which shows that the approach of religious scholars has changed and thinking is underway. This message must be republished in all cities and provinces in order to attract the attention of the Friday Imams and other religious figures.

Larijani said: “It is understood from this text that the period of opposing the tourist, stopping the tourist bus, and considering the tourist as a spy, enemy and agent of cultural aggression is over. Although such thinking still exists to a limited extent, the public announcement of such a message shows that the main body of the clergy and ulema have paid attention to tourism, and I think we are tourism activists who are not so prepared, as to enter the post-Corona era or even discourse. We are not ready for tourism.

He said: “I suggest that a memorandum of understanding be written between the Ministry of Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Handicrafts and the Deputy Minister of Tourism and Management of seminaries, specifying how to cooperate and use the seminary’s propaganda and extension capacity in tourism development.” Understand issues with each other.

Larijani said: “There are many issues in tourism that need to be explained; Due to the position of the clergy and the extent of the presence of the clergy, students and seminaries in all parts of the country, there are many issues that can be used to explain their capacity.
