Announcing the works of the “Puppet Show” section of the Ritual and Traditional Shows Festival

Charso Press: According to the public relations of the General Directorate of Performing Arts, the jury of the “Puppet Show” section of the 21st International Festival of Ritual and Traditional Shows, consisting of Popak Azimpour, Iraj Mohammadi and Hassan Dadshekar, after reviewing the works received by the secretary of the house, selected 12 puppet shows for introduced in this section.

The judging session of the works was held on Saturday, September 11, with the presence of Ahmed Joulii, the secretary of the 21st Ritual and Traditional Festival, and Abbas Shahmohammadzadeh, the director of the festival, and the selected works were announced as follows:

Puppet show “This story smells” directed by Neda Vafaei from Tehran

Puppet show “Gholamek Namche” directed by Ali Javar from Yazd (Bafaq)

The show “The Legend of Khart and Prat Parani” directed by Mahbobe Arabi from Tehran

Puppet show “Devi’s Wedding” directed by Mitra Tokalpour from Shiraz

Puppet show “Cheche Chalchele Forty Gees” directed by Nasim Shirzadi from Shiraz

Puppet show “Saadi, Columbus and Fateh Behesht” directed by Mehtab Tabrizi from Hormozgan (Kish)

Puppet show “No Chek Zadim No Chone” directed by Amir Hossein Insafi from Tehran

Puppet show “Pand Pirbaba” directed by Ali Jabari from Isfahan

Puppet show “Mubarak and Fund” directed by Farzad Bagasi from Hamedan

Puppet show “Khumre Bazi” directed by Omid Ali Ajaghi from Isfahan

Puppet show “Mubarak and Symphony of Bird Letters” co-directed by Ruqieh Nikiyar and Vahid Rahimi from East Azerbaijan (Tabriz)

Puppet show “12 minutes” directed by Hossein Ghasemi Honar from Tehran

The 21st Festival of Ritual and Traditional Shows will be held in five provinces in Mehr 1402 under the secretaryship of Ahmad Joulii, and the puppet show part of this event will be hosted by North Khorasan Province in Bojnord city.
