According to the Fars news agency’s judicial group, citing the media and communication of the judiciary of Tehran province, the trial of two press crimes cases was held in the third branch of the criminal court of one Tehran province, presided over by Judge Davoudi, in the Shahid Soleimani building of Tehran.

Judge Davoudi, the head of the third branch of the criminal court of a province of Tehran, regarding the examination of two cases related to Arman Melli and Farhikhtegan newspapers, stated: The first case was related to Arman Melli newspaper and the second case was related to an interview published in Farhikhtegan newspaper. In the presence of the jury members of the Tehran Press and Political Crimes Court, the defenses of the accused and the lawyer were taken.

Regarding the second case, which was the publication of an interview in Farhihatgan newspaper, Momeni Rad also added: In this case, a complaint was filed against the manager of a manufacturing plant, during which the newspaper had stated material through an interview, and according to the plaintiff, these materials were declared untrue and The goal of the interviewer was also announced to disturb the public mind.

Momeni Rad further stated regarding the second case: The trial of this case was conducted in the third branch of the criminal court of one province of Tehran, and after the trial, the jury found the accused guilty by a majority of votes, which, of course, unanimously found him entitled to a discount.
