Asus is preparing ROG Zephyrus M16 gaming laptop with Core 9 Ultra 185H and RTX 4090

Asus company now Preparing the ROG Zephyrus M16 gaming laptop It uses Meteor Lake processor and RTX 4090 graphics. The M16 successor will include the latest hardware from Intel and Nvidia. Up until now, little has been known about the Core Ultra 9 100H gaming laptop. Earlier leaks revealed that the Samsung Book 4 Pro is a premium laptop that uses a Core Ultra 9 185H processor and RTX 4070 laptop graphics. However, there is no information on whether this Intel processor can be combined with more powerful graphics or not, and how it will do this. But it seems that Asus is working on such a system.
Specifications of ROG Zephyrus M16 gaming laptops
Early leaks about the Meteor Lake processors suggested that the Core Ultra 9 series chips would be delayed after the Core Ultra 3/5/7 versions were introduced in December. However, laptops equipped with Core 9 series chips are expected to hit the market early next year. The main difference between this series of Meteor Lake processors lies in their thermal design power (TDP) specifications. According to rumors, the Core Ultra 9 series processors have a TDP of 45W, while the others run at a paltry TDP of under 30W, which is set by the laptop manufacturers.
So the Core 9 processors will probably come with discrete gaming graphics. Presumably because of this difference in TDP, Asus is now confirmed to be working on a ROG Zephyrus GU605 gaming laptop powered by a Core Ultra 9 185H CPU. This device is likely to be a replacement for the M16 2023 design, which is equipped with Intel’s 13th generation Core-H series chips. What’s interesting here is the inclusion of Nvidia’s flagship RTX4090 laptop graphics, which supports 16GB of VRAM.
Additionally, it has been confirmed that the new ROG Zephyrus M16 laptop will use LPDDR5X memory in either 2×8 or 2×16 configurations. Both systems, discovered by hardware leaker @momomo_us, have 1TB of memory. The screen of this laptop is 16 inches and has a Wide Quad XGA (WQXGA) resolution of 2560×1600 and an unknown refresh rate and technology.
Asus plans to introduce its new line of ROG laptops this month, with availability depending on specific models and the availability of Intel’s Core 9 processors. Currently, there is no sign of ROG Zephyrus laptops powered by Meteor Lake processors.
