According to Tejarat News, the statistics show that since the beginning of the implementation of the housing production jump law, banks have allocated only 161 thousand billion tomans of facilities to the housing sector. These data about banks’ facilities for housing show that they have not fulfilled their obligations.

According to the announcement of the Ministry of Roads and Urban Development, since the beginning of the implementation of the housing production surge law, Maskan Bank 99 thousand billion tomans, Sepe Bank 16 thousand billion tomans, Mellat Bank 13 thousand billion tomans, Tejarat Bank 8 thousand billion tomans, National Bank 7 thousand billion tomans. Tomans, Saderat Bank 7 thousand billion Tomans, Refah Bank 2 thousand billion Tomans and other banks have paid 6 thousand billion Tomans in facilities for housing construction.

The statistics of the payment of housing facilities by banks by year

In the first year of the implementation of the housing production surge law, that is, from September 1400 to September 1401, banks had to pay 360 thousand billion tomans of facilities to the housing sector.

In the second year of the implementation of the housing production jump law, that is, from September 1401 to September 1402, banks must allocate 458 thousand billion tomans of their facilities to the housing sector.

The Ministry of Roads and Urban Development has announced that until the end of August this year, banks have fulfilled 20% of their obligations regarding the payment of facilities to the National Housing Movement.

Penalty for banks that have not fulfilled their obligations

In the housing production surge law, a tax penalty has been considered for banks that do not fulfill their duties regarding granting facilities to the National Housing Movement Plan.

Banks that do not comply with the legal obligation to pay the National Housing Movement Plan facilities, must pay the equivalent of 20% of the unfulfilled obligation as a fine.
