Mohammad Reza Hosseinzadeh, CEO of Bank Melli Iran, said in a meeting to review the performance of the bank’s independent departments and independent branches in the first six months of this year, which was held in a webinar: Banking and customer orientation should be Be permanent and colleagues should not neglect the initiative.

Hosseinzadeh in the meeting, which was attended by managers, a number of heads of general departments, heads of branch affairs departments, heads of districts, independent and privileged branches across the country, referring to the issuance of some rulings for board members with the aim of synergy In order to promote the bank, the colleagues added: the members of the executive board will pay for the resources, expenses, collection of receivables, attracting new customers and… with the help of the deputy for branch affairs.

Referring to the increase in the bank’s need for resources, he stated: “Due to the increase in costs, our need for resources has also increased, and priority should be given to current, cheap, short-term and then long-term deposits.”

Hosseinzadeh, stating that we expect our colleagues to try to achieve the goals and policies announced in accordance with the plan, stressed: The capacity and potential of Bank Melli Iran is not seen in any other bank, and therefore more is expected from colleagues.

The CEO of Bank Melli Iran, stating that despite the heavy duties on the shoulders of banks, the issue of their profitability is raised, said: “Unfortunately, some branches of the bank are still unaware of obtaining minimum fees, which is a violation of bank rights.”

He pointed out: We ask the branch affairs managers to be more by the side of the units and departments and to deliver a better performance record than in the past.

Hassan Monsan, a member of the Board of Directors and Deputy Branch of the Bank, also said that the units should put the central program of employees on their agenda, adding: “We will put the equipping of resources on the agenda.”

He said that LC sector deposits and foreign exchange guarantees should be 15% of the bank’s total deposits, adding that staff managers should have more support for branches.

Emphasizing that the bank’s position in the letter of credit sector should be upgraded, the deputy of the bank’s branches stated: Letter of credit should be done in the field of Rials.
