Announcing that accreditation had already been implemented in some banks, Sadeghi said: “This model helps banks to pay small loans to applicants, can facilitate guarantee conditions and apply for less collateral, such as salary deduction certificates and real estate documents.”
He went on to announce that the payment of small loans has started with the credit model as an example, adding: now about one million facilities are paid monthly in the country’s banking network and the purpose of credit is to give people who have good credit behavior access to Increase bank facilities.
The director of the Central Bank’s information department also said that according to the accreditation method, the access of bad bank account customers who have good documents, but their past behavior shows that they do not fulfill their obligations on time, is limited.
He called the amount of overdue receivables of banks about 7% of payment facilities and added: “As much as this number decreases, it is in the interest of the people and the country.”
Sadeghi added: Access to the accreditation system is provided for the general public and applicants can be informed of their accreditation status by referring to the My Credit system and paying a fee of about one thousand tomans, and in the future this possibility will be provided in mobile software.
