Barakat Foundation supports 60,000 students who have dropped out of school

He pointed out: The Barakat Foundation is forced to return to the education of students in remote and difficult areas in provinces such as Sistan and Baluchestan and South Khorasan, which due to problems such as lack of school distance, traffic, lack of transportation, lack of facilities and poverty They have dropped out of school and implemented a variety of activities such as building a school, building a dormitory, providing a vehicle, and donating books and teaching aids.
Explaining the details of these measures, the director of the Barakat Foundation stated: The Barakat Foundation has built and completed 140 schools in the difficult areas of the country.

According to the director of the Barakat Foundation, 6,300 students benefit from the educational services of these schools.

Turkmaneh continued: The foundation has also built and completed 19 boarding schools with a capacity of 2,150 students in rural and impassable areas of the country and has provided them to students in these areas.

Emphasizing on solving the problem of students’ traffic in difficult areas, he said: “The foundation has purchased and delivered 19 vans (minibuses) to facilitate the movement of students to schools.”
Explaining other services of the foundation to the students who dropped out of school, the CEO of Bartar Foundation stated: So far, all kinds of educational items, including books, stationery and teaching aids, have been donated to 50,000 of these students.

Turkmaneh noted that the Barakat Foundation, in addition to providing the opportunity for returning children to return to school, also creates jobs for the families of these students. The purpose of this measure is economic empowerment and sustainable livelihood for the families of these students.

He added: “By the end of last year, the foundation has launched 2,000 community-based job creation projects for the families of children who have dropped out of school, and is implementing another 1,000 projects.”

The director of Barakat Foundation, emphasizing the continuation of the school-building movement in the country, said: “This year, the foundation plans to build 200 new schools with 1,000 classrooms with the priority of replacing them with convent schools, and has allocated 2,000 billion rials for this purpose.”

Turkmaneh reminded: with the opening of these 200 new schools, the number of schools ready for operation and completed by the end of 1401 will reach 2,000 schools with 11,000 classrooms.

He pointed out: At present, 3,750 villages across the country are covered by the Barakat Foundation’s school-building activities, and 250,000 students are studying in Barakat schools.
