Behrouz Shoaib became a member of the evaluation group of the Children’s Film Festival
The Farabi Cinema Foundation has formed an evaluation and planning working group for the International Film Festival for Children and Adolescents, with the membership of several unfamiliar names in children and adolescent cinema.
Theater News Base: According to the public relations of the Farabi Cinema Foundation, the duties and members of this working group are as follows:
“According to Article 11 of the policies and five-year plan announced by the Farabi Cinema Foundation and with the aim of improving the quantity and quality of the International Film Festival for Children and Adolescents” Working Group for Evaluation and Planning of the International Film Festival for Children and Adolescents “to provide suggestions and planning Regarding the future periods of this festival, it is based on benefiting from past experiences, pathology and evaluation of the strengths and weaknesses of past periods, and using the opinions of artists, experts and specialists in this field. The main topics of this working group are as follows:
1. Reviewing the past periods of the International Film Festival for Children and Adolescents and presenting suggestions for improving and upgrading the national and international status of this festival, including the structure, time of holding, manner of holding, venue, awards, etc.
2. Evaluate similar world festivals and make suggestions on how to develop the festival internationally, especially in the region and the Islamic world.
3. Reviewing the system of children and adolescents’ issues in order to present the thematic axes of the festival
4. Evaluate bylaws, procedures and processes and reorganize them in accordance with the approaches of legalism, standardization and justice
5. Creating the necessary bases for discovering and flourishing the talents of children and adolescents in the field of cinema, including strengthening the Iranian adolescent filmmaking olympiad
6. Learning the participation of children and adolescents in the festival, especially in deprived and less privileged areas
7. Establishment for sustainable communication of the audience participating in the festival with the National Club of Children and Adolescent Cinema
8. Popularization of the festival through the main, side, market and …
9. How to use the opportunity of the festival to strengthen the production of films for children and adolescents, attract capital to produce these works and develop marketing (ancillary industries) in the field of children and adolescents
10. Saving on holding the festival and seriously avoiding any expenses for ineffective, ceremonial and inefficient actions …
The members of this working group are Masoud Ahmadian, Behrouz Shoaib, Mohammad Amin Hamedani, Raed Faridzadeh, Saeed Hosseini, and also Mostafa Mahmoudi Shargh was appointed as the secretary of the working group.
