Benefiting 700 needy mothers and children in Tehran from the nutrition improvement plan

The Deputy of Family Support and Health of the Relief Committee of Tehran province, stating that this support program is being carried out with the cooperation and participation of the Relief Committee and the Deputy Health Affairs of Shahid Beheshti Universities, Iran and Tehran, stated: Identifying malnourished children, special care Health, education of families, follow-up and monitoring of child and mother’s growth are among the measures taken by the Vice-Chancellor of Health Affairs of universities, and the charging of nutrition bank cards and follow-up of receiving food baskets for families are among the duties of the relief committee in this plan.
He continued: In order to help improve the nutrition of children and mothers included in this plan, 3 thousand 188 baskets of goods in the amount of 6 billion 392 million Rials were spent in 1401.
Moradi pointed out: In addition to providing nutrition improvement services to this group of the target community, in order to measure the effectiveness of the services provided, the necessary control and monitoring will be done through health and treatment centers in different periods and time intervals. If the condition of the eligible clients improves according to specific standards, they will be removed from the coverage of this plan.
