According to Mehr News Agency, US President Joe Biden began his speech today at the 76th General Assembly of the United Nations.

In his speech, the US President said that this year’s meeting will be held in the context of the huge problem of the corona outbreak and its negative consequences, and at the same time, great opportunities.

He added that the world is on the verge of critical decades that will determine the future, adding that if the world works together, the world will move forward.

Regarding the war in Afghanistan, the US President claimed: “With the end of the war in Afghanistan, we strengthened cooperation with our partners.… With the end of the 20-year war in Afghanistan, we intend to work with our allies around the world and engage with the world.”

He added: “Over the past eight months, we have expanded cooperation with our partners, including strengthening NATO, and we have returned to interacting with the European Union.”

The US President also stressed the need to return to a cooperative approach instead of unilateralism in the past: The United States has returned to cooperation with institutions such as the World Health Organization.

“If necessary, the United States will work with its allies in the interests of the American people,” Biden said.

Joe Biden, without elaborating on his country’s efforts to block US policy on access to the corona vaccine, said: Infectious diseases in the world!

He also called on the Taliban to respect human rights in Afghanistan.

He also criticized the Taliban for putting pressure on the Afghan people and called for an end to the violence.

Regarding the Occupied Territories, Joe Biden said that he believes that the best solution to the West Asian crisis is to create an independent Palestinian state alongside the Zionist regime, adding that this solution must ensure peace and security in Israel!

Regarding the nuclear deal with Iran, the US official said that the United States is committed to returning to the IAEA and to prevent Iran from acquiring nuclear weapons.

At the same time, he reiterated that Washington was ready to return to a nuclear deal with Iran if Iran returned to its obligations.
