“Borders of Resistance” in the Documentary Network / An overview of the history of Israel’s major wars with Arab countries


According to Fars News Agency, Vahid Faraji, the director of the documentary “Borders of Resistance”, said about the subject of this documentary series: It happened in Egypt, Lebanon, Syria and Jordan. In each part of this series, one of these battles is narrated in detail and the events before, during and after are examined.

The documentary filmmaker said about his narrative style: “A significant part of the images in this documentary series are archival, and we also have graphic works.” Fortunately, we were able to collect good archival images focusing on the Zionist regime and its wars with the Arabs of the region, and many of the images seen in this work are new.

The first war dates back to 1948 and the formation of Israel, and the other five major wars are the Suez Crisis in 1956, the Six-Day War in 1967, the Yom Kippur War in 1973, and the Israeli invasion of Lebanon in 1982. First Lebanon) and the Second Lebanon War, known as the “33-Day Lebanon War.”

Faraji also said about the research of “Borders of Resistance”: making such a documentary requires extensive research. Especially after extracting information from different sources, they should be put together and verified. The major part of the research was library research and translation of information and documents from different languages.

“Borders of Resistance” has been produced in 6 episodes of 56 minutes by the Sima Documentary Network and the Misagh Cultural Center, and will be broadcast on Wednesdays at 9 pm on Wednesdays.
