Breaking the record of returned checks in Tehran in the spring of 1401

In mid-spring of 1401, the ratio of bounced checks in Tehran province reached its highest level and 9% of the number of bounced checks was eaten. However, the ratio of the number of bounced checks has been decreasing until the beginning of winter.
According to Echo Iran, the trend of the percentage of bounced checks in Tehran province in 1401 continued its downward trend and in January, only 6.2% of the number of exchange checks bounced in Tehran province. The process of checks in the country is published monthly by the central bank, and it is possible to evaluate the return and collection of checks in terms of amount and number.
The trend of the number and amount of returned checks in 1401
Checking the monthly statistics of checks in 1401 shows that the trend of the number of returned checks has gone down from the beginning of the year to the end of December. The lowest ratio of returned checks in terms of number and amount has been announced in December.
According to this survey, in May, the record of bounced checks was broken and 9% of the number of exchanged checks and 10.8% of the amount of exchanged checks were returned during this month. In simpler terms, it can be said that the probability of check return is higher in May compared to other months. October and August have the highest percentage of returned checks in terms of amount.
This assessment indicates that the probability of check returns in the second half of the year has decreased compared to the first half of 1401 in Tehran.
