According to the Mehr correspondent, the documentary “Iran Vatan Man” directed by Javad Yaghmouri, produced by the Fatah Narrative Cultural Foundation documentary group, should be considered one of the first works produced in the early days of the Corona outbreak. The self-sacrifice of families and ordinary people in helping their compatriots in the days when the virus was unknown and the people of the society were struggling with it also spoke.
This documentary will be aired today, Saturday, January 25, at 11:30 PM on the third channel of Sima, and its director talked about the experiences of making the documentary in its first days, also in the hospitals and special treatment centers of Corona.
Javad Yaghmouri told Mehr about dealing with a student family in the documentary: “Iran Vatan Man” was one of the first documentaries produced in the days of Corona. And we became their helpers to the nurses, a family whose wives and children were students and who came to the hospital without any supervision or jihad, and the nurses followed the compatriots who had coronary heart disease.
He added: “For this reason, when I met this family, I realized their self-sacrifice and sacrifice at that difficult and sensitive moment, a subject that I considered to be a unique event, so I tried to produce a documentary on this.” Let me pay attention to the subject and finally the documentary “Iran is my homeland” was made.
Yaghmouri also clarified about the difficulties and challenges of making documentaries: Well, in the beginning of 1999 and the first days of the corona outbreak, there was fear in the whole society, and of course, the country’s artistic community, especially documentarians, were not free from this issue. The disease was so severe that we even had trouble renting simple equipment. As soon as some of the offices realized that we were going to go to coronary hospitals, they refused to provide their facilities, so we had to produce documents with our own equipment and old equipment. This was one of our most important problems.
The documentarian also pointed to other challenges among documentarians: In any case, most of the documents produced on the subject of corona are of the documentary type, and groups were allowed to be in the corona space for a very limited time due to health issues. . This became one of the main reasons for the reporting of these works, on the other hand, some professional artists and documentarians withdrew and the documentary groups were forced to go to hospitals with non-professional people to produce.
He considered the presence of documentarians in hospitals as a kind of sacrifice and self-sacrifice and said: “The self-sacrifice that came from their beliefs in the people and in the special and difficult conditions of the country, but in any case I believe most works have been produced as documentaries these days.”
Javad Yaghmouri has documentaries such as “Brotherhood”, “Mujtahid Lari”, “The Story of the Baha’is”, and “In the Line of Hussein” in his documentary record.
Other actors in this film are: Editors Hossein Nasirpour, Seyed Rasool Nabavi, Jalal Yaghmouri, Amin Mohaghegh and Mojtaba Taheri. This documentary will be aired on Saturday, January 25, at 11:30 PM on the Se Sima network.
