Cancel 5,000 flights in the United States last night and today

US airlines canceled thousands of flights last night due to strong winter winds and heavy snowfall in the northeast and center of the country, Reuters reported.
The National Weather Service says the weather in the northeastern United States will make travel almost impossible.
The Flyover Institute reports that 4,900 flights have been canceled in the United States since last night.
Delta Airlines has said it will suspend operations at New York’s LaGuardia and John F. Kennedy Airports, New Jersey New Arc Airport and Boston Logan Airport in Maryland today and tomorrow. The company said; Yesterday and today, 1290 flights were canceled.
Similarly, American Airlines announced the cancellation of 1,160 flights due to the storm in the Northeastern United States and told its passengers that they could use other flights at no extra cost. Jetblo Airlines also said about 500 flights had been canceled by Sunday.
United Airlines also said 21 percent of its flights would not be operated on Saturday.
As airlines struggle to cope with the Corona crisis and experience improving conditions, winter storms and snow and ice are now their new challenges.
The growing number of coroners in the United States, especially among airline employees, has left them short of staff and canceled flights. Southwest Airlines alone says 5,000 of its employees, or 10 percent of its workforce, have been infected with Corona in the first three weeks of this month, and the company has been forced to cancel 5,600 flights this month, costing $ 50 million. The dollar will lose.
