Candidates for national math entrance exam decreased/serious warning to the society – Mehr news agency Iran and world’s news

According to Mehr reporter, Ali Khairuddin On Wednesday afternoon, on the sidelines of his visit to Semnan University, the venue of the entrance exam for various fields, he stated in the presence of reporters: Compared to the mathematics field entrance exams, it has decreased drastically and this is a warning to the society.

He stated that the acceptance of the mathematics field was so low that only 9% of the participants competed in this field this year, and added: The experimental field has the highest number of candidates with 40% of candidates.

Stating that in previous years, mathematics candidates were more than 25% of all candidates, but this year they did not even reach 10%, he said: This shows a sharp drop in mathematics candidates.

Khairuddin Stating that a solution for this situation is under the order of the Ministry of Science, he said: This decrease indicates the issues and reasons that have been investigated.

He said that humanities are in the second place with 28%, language is in the third place with 13%, art is in the fourth place with 11% and mathematics is in the fifth place with 9%.
