According to the Fars Environment Reporter, Alireza Shahrdari, in charge of caring for the only surviving newborn cheetah in captivity, released a video today announcing the proper conditions of this male cheetah and announced: he has named this cheetah “Pirooz”.

He pointed out that this cheetah is 47 days old and during this time, the cheetah maintenance team has gone through several challenges, and during this time, even the remaining conditions of the cheetah have come close to using resuscitation equipment.

The municipality added: “It is the 30th day that it spends 24 hours a day with the newborn cheetah and with the presence of several veterinarians, the condition of this cheetah has reached relative stability.”
