The director of Saba Radio said about this festival and its policy change: “The first idea under the umbrella of smile was held in 1993 with the focus on network comedy programs and was an excuse for a period and appreciation of radio network comedy programmers, but this period changed its approach.” , Has become a competitive festival, in the first period with this method of holding a limited number of comedy programs of each network and the voice of the provincial centers have the opportunity to participate in the festival, but the most important change in the festival is the addition of the public section. In this section, all those interested in producing humorous audio works and even writing for radio have the opportunity to participate in the competition.
