Compilation of the 3-year “overhaul of subway trains” program by the next 2 weeks

According to Fars report, Masoud Darshi stated that the metro operation company pledged to implement the “overhaul of trains” program at the beginning of this year, adding: Considering the current conditions, it is possible that the implementation of a number of programs has been done inconsistently. We are developing a three-year plan to make up for the delays in periodic visits and overhaul during this period.

The CEO of Tehran and Suburbs Metro Operation Company announced that this three-year plan has not yet been finalized and will be finalized in the next two weeks. But serious delays in this area have made us think about planning and developing a newer program. Accordingly, the overhaul of the trains should be carried out with a strong three-year plan.

Darshi also said about the purchase of parts needed for the metro: the vice-chancellor of transportation has deposited the cost needed for the purchase of parts and equipment of the metro to the company’s account.

At the end of his speech, he added: The auction for the purchase of the required parts is being held so that after the contracts are completed, these parts and equipment will gradually enter the fleet. It is hoped that within the next two months we will reach a favorable point in the supply of parts.
