Condolence message of the Minister of Culture following the death of Professor Habibullah Sadeghi

According to Fars news agency, the Minister of Culture expressed his condolences on the death of Professor Habibullah Sadeghi.

The text of Mohammad Mahdi Esmaili’s message is as follows:

“Master Habibullah Sadeghi, a prominent Ashura artist, a lasting face of the art of revolution and sacred defense, and the golden pen of Iranian art, left his body among the earthlings on the eve of Muharram, sat on a heap of souls, and rose from the earth to the wings of angels in the presence of God. He will always have a lofty position and a dignified position.
He is alive who stood up to the ideals of the Islamic Revolution with the eloquent language of art and showed the beauty of religion in the language of images. He was the pioneer illustrator of the artistic front of the revolution and resistance and Joibar Zalal of the art of Iran and the revolution, who represented the entire battle of darkness and light in his works. An artist who spent his time and energy in the way of recording the truth from the perspective of the province and the artistic expression of what happened in the history of the Islamic Revolution, and introduced the tired souls of the people of the new age to religious and revolutionary art. He was in the field and in the battle, Amarvar. The breast of the revolution and an artist at the level of the Islamic revolution, who during his brilliant career did many services and efforts in the field of promoting Quranic culture and art, and devoted a lot of effort in creating lasting and eternal works. His irreplaceable works were filled with revolutionary spirit and inspired by the teachings of the Quran and full of courage, innovation and beauty. As a revolutionary and compassionate artist, he always protected the ideals of the Islamic Revolution and its achievements.
Master Sadeghi was by the side of the people with his works during the victory of the revolution and the sacred defense, and he imprinted the beliefs and ideals of the people, and until the last seconds of his life in the workshop, he was familiar with his risky profession with his serenity, and he did not hesitate for a moment to perform it correctly. From the revolutionary paintings before the revolution to his bold caricatures against the armed hypocrites in the 60s, to his unique painting about Palestine, the Holy Quds, to the mujahidan effort of the master all these years in his last unique painting entitled “Der Rasa Simorgh” about the Martyr General Soleimani. The perseverance of this great artist can be seen in the reflection of Islamic and revolutionary beliefs in painting.
On this side, I had a deep friendship with this great artist, and during the recent meetings, it was the basis of serious cooperation for cross-border activities and cultural missions abroad; But how soon the time of his departure inevitably came, and the chicken of his life got out of his cage and traveled from his home to the boundless ocean; And now we have lost not only a great artist but also our cultural ambassador.
With great sadness and regret, the death of this pioneer artist in the field of painting, caricature and graphics of the Islamic Revolution and Holy Defense is expressed by the Supreme Leader, the respected family of the deceased, especially his wife and other survivors and companions with him and all the friends of the art of the revolution and those who They are hostages to the art of this border and land. I offer my condolences and I ask God, the creator of life, to rest his pure soul in Paradise and grant the survivors of the deceased patience, health and honor in this world and the hereafter.
