The Corona era was a very difficult time for the people of Iran and the people of the world, and the need to make a film about this era is really felt; Because nothing can be more lasting than a drama to narrate the hardships and efforts of the medical staff in this era. “Confidential” wants to be a narrator of the scientific progress and efforts of our country’s scientists in the field of medicine and the development of a corona vaccine, and an attractive show from behind the scenes of the efforts of Iranian scientists.

In this series, like “Tamam Rukh”, the audience has two general story lines: one is family stories, in which concepts such as the importance of preserving originality, introducing the family as the basic pillar of happiness, the punishment of slips, etc. The second aspect includes the strategic issues that started with the assassination of elite Iranian scientists and deals with the drug embargo, the drug mafia, and the project of infiltration and stonewalling in the path of domestic vaccine production.

“Mahramane” tries to narrate its inflammatory story from several different aspects by focusing on the “Farhamand” family and designing special jobs for the members of this family; Sina – the son of the family – who is at the head of the story and the Iranian corona vaccine manufacturing center, so that the audience can witness the round-the-clock efforts of the young Iranian team to produce a domestic vaccine, Sara – the daughter of the family – as a nurse, is an example of thousands of selfless and selfless nurses and doctors who have been away from suffering for months. Police-espionage stories must have an attractive and charismatic central and powerful character, and there must be an anti-hero in front of him, but in “Mahramane”, the narrative flow of the script is chaotic and scattered, and the characters are either in the form of the treatment team and security officers or Drug mafia and spies are not well paid. One of the reasons is definitely the wrong choice of actors in the series. Some roles are not compatible with the actors. This shows that either the director’s hands were closed for selection or that Hasan did not have good taste; For example, Zuhair Yari in the role of Sina and Laleh Eskandari in the role of Lili Hakim, Ava are not suitable for their age in terms of age, and also the actress who plays the role of Sara has a very artificial and weak performance and cannot bring the audience’s companionship and empathy in the role of a nurse in the face of the difficult conditions of Corona. to arouse Solmaz Hesari also has a very clichéd performance in the role of a swallow who approaches Saeed’s father to get confidential information. On the other hand, the security officers such as Kazem and Taha, etc., cannot show the audience the height of intelligence and vigilance of the country’s intelligence officers due to their weak characterization and artificial acting due to the lack of proper guidance by the director. Especially because some dialogues suffer from sloganeering; From dialogues about the leakage of sensitive pharmaceutical information of the country, the need to comply with health protocols to prevent the spread of Corona, and even issues such as national production and drug addiction to the threats of spies, especially the personality of Mehraweh (Nasim Adabi).

In general, it can be said that “Mahramaneh” is an average series whose structure is compatible with the needs of today’s country. But the screenplay is written in such a way that it lacks the power to influence the audience and the strength necessary for the formation of a spy security series. In fact, the course of serialization in this genre in Cima is going downhill and falling; From the first season of “Gando” series to “Safe House”, “Sarjohe”, “Tamm Rokh” and Mahraneh, the series have become weaker day by day, both technically and in terms of content, as if security series should be without a custom label only because of the custom label.
