Continuation of the construction of Azadegan terminal and parking lot for Metro line 3 trains

According to Fars report, Azad Akbari, the operator of Metro line 3, said: Azadegan terminal is located next to Azadegan and Ayat Saeedi highways, and its first phase, with an area of ​​25 hectares, has the possibility of stopping 56 trains. Of course, the development phase of the mentioned terminal is intended for the maintenance of Line 11 trains (the construction of which has not yet started), which includes a two-story underground structure.

Akbari further mentioned some construction operations in the active work fronts of the project and added: Fortunately, the operation of constructing a road on the Ayat Saeedi highway has been completed and the tunnel under the Kendro line of this highway is also being completed. Currently, the tunnel section under the railway lines of the Islamic Republic is in the reinforcement and molding stage, and its excavation has been completed. On the other hand, the stage of construction of the peripheral wall of the terminal and excavation along the terminal route continues, and the deposited soil and buried waste in the eastern area of ​​the terminal land will be removed from the project workshop over time.

It should be mentioned that the access route to Azadegan Terminal starts from the area of ​​Ayat Saeedi Street (Islamshahr Intersection) and leads to the main area of ​​the terminal in the form of a tunnel. The length of this tunnel is about 800 meters, and various stages of its implementation are being followed.
