A member of the parliament’s social commission said that applying for a job was the main concern of the deputies in public appeals, adding that cooperatives could be effective in creating jobs.

Emphasizing that we do not have a shortage of laws to protect cooperatives, he added: “But so far, the laws for the protection and development of cooperatives have not been well implemented.”

The member of the social commission added: “If we want to regulate employment, we must support that all ministries hand over their development plans, like knowledge-based companies, to the cooperatives, but despite the necessary law in this regard, so far no plan.” Construction has not been handed over to cooperatives without leaving the formalities.

Emphasizing that good laws have been formulated and approved in the field of cooperatives, but have not been implemented, Mohammadyari said: “Increasing the supervision of laws is on the agenda of the representatives of the Social Commission of the parliament and if there is a violation, it must be referred to the competent authorities.”

The member of the Economic Commission added: the legislator in the field of supervision has foreseen good laws such as introducing the violating bodies to the judiciary, which should be followed more seriously.

In the end, he said: “Currently, the law on formalizing the martyrs is not implemented by many institutions and ministries, which we can refer to the judiciary, while we are also looking to implement this issue in the cooperatives sector.”
