Creek Tourist Village, a dream come true



The watery river of the village, which has created greenery and beauty along with tall and towering trees, is a good refuge for tourists who want to experience peace for a few mornings, free from the worries of the times.

But the most beautiful manifestations of the pristine nature of Creek Village in the evening are seen by the sound of the river water and the watching of the stars, where it has provided indescribable tranquility for travelers tired of living in the metropolis.

Clean air, colorful clothes of women, girls and the intoxicating smell of bread and local food along with the sweet dialect of Lori are other sweet experiences of travelers who have chosen the village of Creek as their Nowruz tourist destination.

The view of the green heights of the village against the backdrop of vast oak forests and the sound of bells and the noise of nomadic sheep disappearing at sunset along the village roads is a dream that can come true in the village of Creek.

The view of the village from a distance is like a painting with a blue sky, green slopes and houses with intertwined roofs and courtyards, and alleys that pass through the heart of the houses, calling passers-by.

The dance of seven-colored handkerchiefs and the beautiful clothes of the women of the village are all beauties that can be experienced during the trip to this village.

The village of Creek is bounded on the north by the Badami and Tang Jalaha mountains, and on the south by the Bashar River and the village of Talgah, on the west by the village of Dar Shahi, and on the east by the village of Amirabad.

Creek Village Tourism Facilities and Infrastructure

“The infrastructure needed to receive and accommodate tourists overnight in the tourist village of Creek has been provided,” said Kohgiluyeh and Boyer-Ahmad, deputy tourism ministers.

Mohammad Hosseinzadeh added, “Three eco-lodges for overnight stays, serving local food, are ready to receive tourists in the village of Creek.”

“A tourist camp with facilities such as a living platform and toilets is another infrastructure in the village,” he said.

“Travelers can also buy local delicacies such as curd, honey, dried mountain vegetables and handicrafts for souvenirs from the villagers of Creek,” Hosseinzadeh stressed.

Welcoming ecotourism in Creek Village

Kohgiluyeh and Boyer-Ahmad, head of the General Directorate of Heritage, Culture, Tourism and Handicrafts, said: “This year, Nowruz tourists have been welcomed by the province’s ecotourism units, especially in the village of Creek.”

Saeed Talebipour stated: “Currently, about eight ecotourism units in the province are ready to provide services to Nowruz tourists, most of which are decorated in the form of traditional houses, brick and mud and with traditional facilities.”

“Serving traditional food, local and indigenous games, traditional folk music are among Kohgiluyeh and Boyer-Ahmad eco-tourism services,” he said.

Predicted programs

Talebipour said: “Organizing traditional celebrations in the historical and tourist sites of Creek village in order to create a cheerful atmosphere and holding souvenir and gift exhibitions along with ecotourism in this village is one of the important programs of the General Administration in 1401.”

He said: “In order to introduce more of the province’s tourist attractions in Nowruz 1401, more than 39,000 copies of promotional items of the province’s tourism capacities, including booklets, posters, CDs and other printed items, have been distributed during the Nowruz holiday.”

Talebipour continued: “These information items and introduction of Kohgiluyeh and Boyer-Ahmad tourist areas were distributed among tourists at information kiosks, souvenir exhibitions and gifts at the entrances of cities and Nowruz celebrations.”

The location of Creek village near the axis of Yasuj, Isfahan and also the tourist city of Sisakht, the center of Dena city, which is one of the most touristic areas in the south of the country in spring and summer, attracts many tourists to this beautiful village every year.
