Cybercrime Judge: 70% of scams occur with fake SMS notifications

According to Fars News Agency, Amin Tuyserkani, Judge of the Computer Crimes Prosecutor’s Office and Secretary of the Cybercrime Crime Prevention Working Group of the Prosecutor’s Office, wrote in a note on his personal page:

According to the latest statistics, in 70% of the cases of the computer crime court, exactly one method of fraud has been used and people have lost their bank account balance due to clicking on the payment link in the judicial notification text messages.

Another dangerous thing that can happen as a result of clicking on the links of these fake messages is the installation of malware on the person’s phone, through which the scammer has access to your SMS panel, and thus the dynamic password SMS. You have access and can send criminal text messages on your behalf and put you on suspicion.

This judge asked the citizens to first pay attention to all the text messages sent by the judicial systems, including praise, notification, polls, information, etc., only to the addressees in the form of text messages under the name ADLIRAN, and secondly to any message sent to them. It leads to a link to be pessimistic and check it carefully enough.
