Daud Mirbagheri wrote about Mehrjooi/ the progressive works he created for the people – Mehr news agency Iran and world’s news

According to Mehr reporter, Daud Mirbagheri, the director of cinema and television, who these days is engaged in the production of “Salman Farsi” series, has written a text in memory of Dariush Mehrjooi and his wife Vahidah Mohammadi Far at the same time as the funeral of the dead body.

Referring to the history of this prominent director of Iranian cinema, he said:

“The news of the brutal murder of professor Dariush Mehrjooi and his wife Mrs. Vahida Mohammadifar caused shock, surprise and deep regret. Dariush Mehrjoui was one of the important pillars of Iranian cinema and the wavemaker of this cinema, who created and left behind magnificent and progressive works for the people. He included a wide range of literature, philosophy, stories and movies, which he went to the extreme in each of them.

Undoubtedly, his place will remain empty forever in the field of culture and art of this land. I offer my condolences to his teenage daughter, the artistic community and the big cinema family, and I wish peace and forgiveness for the lost loved ones.”
