Deadline for seventh and eighth grade students to participate in mental health tests – Mehr news agency Iran and world’s news

According to Mehr News Agency, the Center for the Development of Virtual Education, Technology and Information Security of the Ministry of Education announced the deadline for the 7th and 8th grade students in the screening and mental health tests until the 20th of June.
According to the announcement of this center in its information channel on the Shad network, the “behavioral mental health” test and “psychological basic screening” in the system my.medu.ir has been activated.
“Behavioral mental health” test will be held for 7th grade students and “Psychological screening” test will be held for 8th grade students and the students have until June 20, 1402 at the latest to enter the system. Orparticipate in these tests.
In this announcement, it is also addressed to school principals: “Principals, considering that after the end of the second exams, the students are not at your disposal; Please emphasize daily and repeatedly that they do the screening test as soon as possible.”
Earlier, Bagherzadeh, the vice-president of educational and cultural affairs of the Ministry of Education, said about this test: the system of social care of students (Symbol) started with the screening of students in elementary, first and second secondary levels in a systematic way. In the first stage, five million and 100 thousand students are screened. Screening will be done in the 3rd and 6th grades of primary school, 7th and 8th grade of first secondary school, 10th and 11th grade of second secondary school using screening and mental health tests.
According to him, after identifying the students who need services, guidance and counseling services will be provided to them in education counseling centers. Nowadays, due to the influx of social harms, timely identification of children and adolescents who need help is very important, therefore, helping to implement the screening process and cooperation of all areas of the Ministry of Education in achieving the important goals of this work is a necessity. It is undeniable.
