According to the disciplinary correspondent of Fars News Agency, the first joint meeting of the officials of the Intelligence Organization of the Islamic Republic of Iran with the Ministry of Intelligence was held simultaneously with the blessed birth of Imam Sajjad (AS) in the “Intelligence Organization of the Disciplinary Command of the Islamic Republic of Iran”.
The meeting, which was attended by the Minister of Intelligence and Brigadier General Mohammad Babaei, head of the Intelligence Organization of the Disciplinary Command and some managers of the two groups, stressed the need to deepen joint activities and exchange experiences.
Following the meeting, the two sides considered it necessary to use each other’s capacities to confront members of arms and ammunition smuggling gangs, deal decisively with thugs who disrupt the security and comfort of society, and fight against cultural influence and deal with currency smuggling and economic corruption. They emphasized any phenomenon of insecurity in the society.
