Death of one of the three Iranian cheetah cubs due to a congenital disease

According to Moj News Agency, Behrang Ekrami, a trusted physician at the Asian Cheetah Breeding Center, announced the death of one of Iran’s three puppies, a female cheetah, which underwent a cesarean section in Turan on May 3rd.

The faculty member and obstetrician and reproductive diseases specialist said: “This puppy was weak from birth and did not gain weight in these four days, and after the autopsy, the cause of death was congenital malformation of the left lung and lung adhesion.”

He said: the second and third puppies have a good weight gain from birth and the executive and scientific team of the Asian Cheetah Breeding Center monitors all the behaviors and feeding of the second and third cheetah puppies and female cheetahs after surgery around the clock.
