A group of MPs recently drafted a bill calling for the implementation of Article 234 of the House Rules of Procedure to file a complaint against Seyyed Reza Fatemi Amin, Minister of Mining Industry and Trade, to the judiciary regarding the car market.
The text of this plan is as follows:
Honorable Speaker of Parliament
Please refer the request for implementation of Article 234 of the Internal Rules of Procedure of the Islamic Consultative Assembly / Mr. Iman to Mr. Seyed Reza Fatemi Amin, Minister of Mining Industry and Trade, regarding the following specialized cases to the relevant specialized commissions.
Request Description:
The country’s automotive industry is plagued by inefficiency and mismanagement in the areas of quality, price, environment, design and technology, sales and after-sales service. Lack of access to platform design knowledge and weakness in research and development mechanisms have also caused the automotive industry. The country can not keep pace with international industrial developments in this area to the extent that it faces serious problems in meeting the growing needs and the rights of domestic customers. Not only the share of this industry in foreign markets is close to zero, but also the automotive industry. The country has also been completely unsuccessful in achieving and satisfying domestic customers.
The situation is such that to compensate for the severe backwardness of responding to the growing needs of the market and access to up-to-date technology, there is no plan and is on the same heel.
The rate of deaths and injuries due to traffic accidents in his country says it all, as if a big earthquake of several thousand Richter and injured occurs in the country every year. It is very sad and daunting to say that the number of fatalities in traffic accidents in the country is equal to the casualties of a full-blown war.
According to the traffic police, the cause of the vehicle and the standard of the car is one of the most important causes of traffic accidents with this volume of casualties. Mismanagement and disregard for upstream laws and documents has been put on the wrong track, and this has faced the country with many challenges and problems.
Therefore, the application of Article 234 of the Rules of Procedure of the Islamic Consultative Assembly regarding violations and refusals to implement the law and negligence and leaving the legal duties of middle and senior managers of the automotive industry and introducing previous and current perpetrators of the current situation to the judiciary is necessary.
Axes of request
