Explaining this instruction, the head of the Monetary and Credit Council said: “According to this, the authentication methods will be in absentia, and individuals can open accounts and receive services from the banking network and financial and credit institutions without physically visiting the country’s banking network in absentia.” Benefit from these services.
Dr. Salehabadi pointed out: The methods of doing work in this instruction are considered in such a way that both full-face and complete authentication can be done without interruption, and at the same time, people can use the methods seen in the instruction and through which authentication It is established for the bank to receive the services from the bank.
The Governor of the Central Bank, while emphasizing that the former face-to-face service is also provided to customers by the banking network; He added: “From now on, in addition to providing services in person, as usual by banks, if a person did not want to go to the bank branch, he can benefit from banking services in absentia.”
Dr. Salehabadi stated that in this instruction, the methods of face-to-face authentication are described in detail and the customer is authenticated in the mentioned framework and can benefit from the services of the banking network. He reminded: it is necessary for banks to create their technical and technological infrastructures within the framework of the instructions that were prepared today, and they are allowed to implement these methods. It is important to note that the banking network has not been allowed to do this to date.
