Details of the increase in the price of basic goods in October / Sugar with a record 75% increase in the price of record-breaking prices


According to the economic correspondent of Fars News Agency, a study of the prices of basic goods such as rice, sugar, red meat and chicken meat shows that the prices of most of these goods have increased in the period from October 2016 to October 1400.

According to this report, the price of each kilogram of first-class Pakistani basmati rice has increased from 234043 Rials to 273909 Rials, and accordingly, the price of this commodity has increased by 17% during the mentioned period.

The price of Thai rice has also increased by 29.8% and has increased from 126812 Rials per kilogram in October 1399 to 164607 Rials in October 1400.

The price of Tarom A’lal rice in October 1400 compared to October 1399 has increased by a total of 61.3 percent and the price per kilogram has increased from 293412 Rials in October 1399 to 473315 Rials in October 1400.

First-class Hashemi rice has also increased by 61.8% from 286973 Rials per kilogram in October 1399 to 464252 Rials in October 1400.

The highest price increase among basic goods in the mentioned period with 75.8% is related to sugar, so that this consumer product has increased from 83142 Rials per kilogram in October 1399 to 146157 Rials in October 1400.

Beef and mutton also increased in price by 60.4% and 33.5%, respectively, during the period.

Accordingly, the price of beef has increased from 824604 Rials per kilogram in October 1399 to 1322430 Rials in October 1400, and the price of each kilogram of mixed mutton has increased from 994437 Rials in October 1398 to 1327395 Rials in October 1400.

Fresh chicken meat has also increased by 42.3% from 196592 Rials per kilogram in October 1399 to 279812 Rials in October 1400.
