Yavar Abiri, the head of the professional associations of ecotourism residences in Iran, said in this meeting: This association has two main goals, one of which is to organize ecotourism, because in the past, small development of ecotourism was considered, and our second goal is better productivity from ecotourism, which The purpose is to help the development of rural tourism.

He added: One of the obstacles that exists is the issue of standardization. Now, some eco-tourists find themselves without the need to renew their license because some units are operating without a license. Meanwhile, a memorandum of understanding has been made with the Omid Entrepreneurship Fund, but the related facilities have not been provided to ecotourists.

The head of the professional associations of Iran’s ecotourism resorts continued: Participation in foreign exhibitions is another of our requests, and fortunately, the first step has been taken for the participation of ecotourists in the Russian exhibition. In addition, we request the ministry to help us in the matter of education and support us in this regard.

Sadegh Kazemian, the vice president of the Professional Association of Ecotourism Residences, also mentioned in this meeting that ecotourism can act as the front of the ministry, the need to measure the capacity of ecotourism accommodations, delegation of authority, attention to ecotourism in defining tourism and health routes.

The holding of the National Conference of Ecotourism and the launching of the specialized scientific journal of Ecotourism were proposed by Saeed Sajjadi, the head of the Kurdistan Ecotourism Association.

Bagheri, the head of Golestan province’s ecotourist associations, also said in this meeting: Ecotours are family-oriented and should not be governed by directives.
