Electricity supply in the energy exchange until 1401

According to Tejarat News, Ali Akbar Mehrabian, on the sidelines of visiting the Sharif University of Technology’s technological achievements exhibition, told reporters on Tuesday evening about the timing of industrial electricity supply in the energy exchange: “In the negotiations, it was agreed to supply electricity in the energy exchange until 1401” Industries can supply their electricity needs this way.

He said that the necessary coordination is being done at the level of the ministry and other departments, adding: “God willing, in 1401 we will see the supply of electricity to large consumers through the energy exchange.”

According to Mehrabian, currently 34% of the country’s electricity consumption is related to the field of industry, so first this program will include large industries and then other industries and all consumers.

The Minister of Energy pointed out: Of course, this does not mean meeting the needs of micro-industries from the energy exchange, but distribution companies will buy electricity in a package and distribute it among consumers, both micro and domestic, but major consumers can directly Buy electricity through the stock exchange.

Mehrabian mentioned the most important feature of the stock exchange as creating a balance between supply and demand and added: “Naturally, the increase in demand will affect the price and industries and producers will try to devote their maximum production activity to when electricity is cheaper. This will balance the rate.” Electricity and reducing power consumption peaks.

In response to another question about the plan to build 10,000 megawatts of electricity by industries, the Minister of Energy said: “According to the agreement signed with the Ministry of Silence and with the presence of major industries, the first step will be to build facilities in this field.” We have made more than 60% progress, contracts have been signed and some industries have started their operations.

Mehrabian continued: “Currently, the demand of industries to build a power plant has reached more than 10,000 MW, and based on this, we have expanded the agreement to 12,000 MW.”

The Minister of Energy said: “This is a good method, because industries can use both the benefits of electricity production and provide the reliable and stable electricity they need forever, and their production is continuous.”

He stressed: “In fact, if we are looking for economic growth, we must provide electricity to producers on a permanent and reliable basis so that the industrial sector can be sure that the electricity it needs is provided on time and can adhere to the contracts it concludes.”

Mehrabian also said in connection with the Ministry of Energy’s program to support companies and knowledge-based industries in the water and electricity industry: “Engine research is the driver of progress of any country and any country that has more investment in research will be faster.”

Emphasizing that research is the basis of innovation in science, the Minister of Energy added: “Fortunately, with the efforts of the country’s young researchers in universities, we are witnessing good developments in industries, especially the water and electricity industry.”

“In the field of energy and water, we need to increase production efficiency and reduce losses,” he said. Has the ability to focus on optimizing consumption and using patterns that take advantage of fewer resources and use more.

He added: “In the Ministry of Energy, we have predicted that we will use new technologies in both areas of water and electricity, and in this regard, one of the issues is to reduce electricity consumption.” Based on this, we have predicted a variety of programs, some of which are underway and some in the future will be based on current technologies and mainly by in-house researchers.

Referring to the need to optimize consumer appliances, the Minister of Energy added: “Part of the electricity produced is spent on cooling systems, and unfortunately many of these cooling devices have higher consumption than modern technologies.”

In the end, he noted: “Measures have been taken in the field of cooling systems and we intend to develop these programs and reduce costs.”
