According to the Mehr news agency, “Enrique Mora”, the EU’s deputy foreign policy chief, announced during his visit to Tehran that he would work to resolve the remaining problems in the negotiations on lifting the sanctions in Vienna.
Announcing his visit to Tehran, the senior European negotiator wrote in a message on his Twitter account that he was returning to Iran with Ali Bagheri Kani, Deputy Foreign Minister and Senior Negotiator of Iran and other officials of the Islamic Republic regarding the Vienna talks. Will consult.
“Work is continuing to close the remaining gaps in the negotiations,” Mora wrote in a statement.
The Vienna talks have been under way since last year with the aim of lifting sanctions against Iran in the form of the P5 + 1, but US extravagance has still prevented a final agreement on the issue.
Earlier, US State Department spokesman Ned Price, referring to the visit of the EU Deputy Foreign Minister to Tehran on Tuesday to hold talks with Iranian officials, claimed that Washington hoped that the talks would be concluded!
