Execution of the first specialized table of food tourism of nations in Abbasabad cultural and tourism region

According to Fars News Agency, the first meeting of the specialized table of food tourism of nations, one of the four subsets of the Food Tourism Federation, was held in the presence of Seyed Mostafa Fatemi, Director General of the Internal Tourism Development Office of the Ministry of Heritage, in Abbasabad Cultural and Tourism Complex.

He added: “The first specialized table for food tourism of nations was held in Abbasabad cultural and tourism region, which is one of the main centers of successful tourism in Tehran, which due to the importance of this tourist place can become a center for promoting food tourism in Tehran.” “

“This experiment has been carried out in different countries and has been implemented in the Ministry of Sports under various committees, which has been successful,” said the director general of the Office of Domestic Tourism Development.

“The plan of the national tourism committees and specialized tables is ready to be sent to the Supreme Council of Cultural Heritage,” Fatemi stated.

He further explained about the specialized tables for food tourism: “In this area, the formation of four specialized tables for Iranian food, nations, cold drinks and hot drinks, as well as bread and sweets is planned.”

Fatemi described the role of the Ministry of Heritage, Culture, Tourism and Handicrafts in setting up specialized support and facilitation desks, adding: “Our main goal as the government is to solve these problems and we will be with the private sector in a supporting role.”

Fahim Habibi, Deputy Minister of Culture of Abbasabad Renovation Company, stated that there is a significant space for food in Abbasabad lands and food is an important part of this complex, adding: “We are ready to hold any event related to food and tourism in this place and we hope the base “Let’s form an identity of food tourism in the lands of Abbasabad.”

At the end of the meeting, food was served from Pakistan, Armenia, Afghanistan, Greece, China, India, Japan, Spain, Turkey, Italy, France and Turkmenistan.
