Exhibition of works by Alborz artists in the UNESCO Arman Peace Virtual Exhibition



According to the Aria Heritage Report, citing the public relations of the General Directorate of Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Handicrafts of Alborz Province, Fereydoun Mohammadi announced this news on the evening of Thursday, November 27, 1400, stating: “A total of 11 Alborz artists participated in various artistic disciplines, such as wood carving, mosaics, lattice and wood burning, inlay, doll design and sewing.”

The Director General of Alborz Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Handicrafts stated: “Due to the prevalence of the corona and the need to comply with health protocols, the UNESCO Arman Peace Virtual Exhibition was officially opened on Thursday evening.”

Referring to the presence and brilliance of Alborz artists, he added: “The works of 218 artists have been exhibited in three halls in a virtual form and have been exposed to the eyes of those interested.”

Emphasizing the need to support artists and activists in the field of handicrafts, Mohammadi stated: “More than 5,000 artists are working in 72 fields of handicrafts in Alborz, which undoubtedly have a great impact on the economic prosperity and job creation of the province.”
