Fajr Film Festival | Director “Biro”: The media people saw the film in the valley, not the cinema

According to the Fars News Agency cinema correspondent, the press conference of the movie “Biro” was held in the presence of the agents of this movie in Saadi Hall of Milad Tower Conference Center (Fajr Film Festival House).

Majid Barzegar, the producer of this film, said in this meeting: “The conditions for making independent films are at the end of his work.” I think “outside” is exactly like the space we have been in so far.

Morteza Ali Abbas Mirzaei, the director of this film, said: “All our efforts have been to make independent cinema possible.” We were outside with a different film in terms of story, image and location. We tried to choose a hero from our community and make a film about him. Alireza Biranvand was the best person who grew and rose from the heart of society.

Barzegar then said: “This film was a special film because its hero is alive and still has bright days.” This film depicts hope and shows how a hero tries and does not get tired. It was a great pleasure for me to enter this project.

Hossein Biranvand, who played the lead role in Biro, said: “First of all, let me say that Mr. Biranvand and I are from the same tribe, but he did not know me.” Coincidentally, he saw one of my agents and introduced him to the group. I think Outdoor is a good movie.

Roozbeh Pirooz, the project designer of the film, said: “Our goal was to tell how a young man with a familiar Iranian name overcomes hardships and becomes a hero.” We want to say that if a young person tries, one day he will be paid for his efforts.

Abbas Mirzaei, in response to the question why your film has become like a cartoon of footballers, said: “My generation has a lot of memories with cartoons of football players.” I tried to have the camera in the ground and take the character up close, maybe that reminded you of football.

He continued: “I think our cinema has a lot of capacity to make films about our sports heroes.” In my opinion, this film was very similar to the personal life of Alireza Biranvand, but with his permission, I can enter and imagine parts. Alireza Biranvand himself saw and liked the film. We showed only a part of the hardships of Biranvand’s life.

Majid Yazdani, the director of photography for this film, said: “Beyro was one of the most difficult things I filmed, because we had to be inside the field while playing.” It was very difficult to keep the light and the scene and close the frames in this film.

Farid Nazer Fassihi, director of special effects for the film, said: “We produced part of the film with a green screen, and the fact that this move was not very noticeable means that we did our job properly.” We tried to form the fantasy that should have existed in such a story.

Abbas Mirzaei pointed out: “Because we had little opportunity, we could not work as much as we should in the color and light of the film, so we will have a re-editing after the festival.” I do not know why the media people like Milad Tower, you have seen the movie in a valley, not a professional cinema hall, I heard different voices in every corner of the hall.
