According to the Mehr news agency, quoting the Ministry of Cooperatives, Labor and Social Welfare, Mohsen Ebrahimi announced the determination of the amount of fines for employing illegal foreign nationals in 1401 and specified: J Article 11 of the Law on Regulation of a Part of Government Revenues, any employer who uses illegal foreign labor or works in occupations other than those specified in the work permit shall be fined 5 times the minimum wage for each day of employment.

He added: “According to the decision of the Supreme Labor Council, which has set the minimum daily wage this year at 1,393,250 rials, the amount of the fine for each day of illegal employment of foreign nationals is five times the minimum daily wage, which is equivalent to 6,966.” It will be one thousand and 250 Rials.

The Director General of Employment of Foreigners of the Ministry of Cooperatives, Labor and Social Welfare emphasized: this amount of fine will be doubled if the violation is repeated.

He pointed out: Also, in case of refusal to pay this fine, the employer will be introduced to the judicial courts in accordance with Article 181 of the Labor Law.
