In a conversation with Mehr reporter, Mohammad Ali Eslami said about the program of this vice-chancellor in the field of clothing and hijab according to the recent notification of the Ministry of Science to universities: Our main emphasis at Allameh University on the issue of clothing is to familiarize students with the university identity and university affairs. ; There are rules at the scientific, cultural, social and clothing levels, and as you know, they have defined a clothing code in all the universities of the world, and we at Allameh University also emphasize that, in the first step, in the form of explanation and awareness in the atmosphere of Farhansazi University do.
The cultural and social vice president of Allameh Tabatabai University, while pointing out that thank God, the students of Allameh University respect the issue of clothing, said: There are a very limited number of people who sometimes ignore the norms either due to ignorance or for various reasons. We have some things in this direction and we want to communicate with students in an empathetic, persuasive and motivational way.
Eslami pointed out: In addition to positive spaces such as holding free-thinking chairs and educational workshops, it will be implemented in an explanatory manner, for those limited people who are indifferent to the hijab issue, according to Resolution 820 of the Supreme Council of the Cultural Revolution in the field of rules. Academic coverage and promotion of lifestyle and notification of the Ministry of Science, we have created a series of leadership councils in different faculties.
This official in charge of Allameh Tabatabai University explained about Hadi Council in the faculties and said: These councils are formed under the chairmanship of the heads of the faculties and consist of faculty members and staff members. The leader council has the duty to invite students to a meeting where some professors are present, and there is a sympathetic conversation between them, and they are asked to observe the rules of dress.
He said: It is emphasized that this issue helps to improve the mental health of the student and the university community. In the field of psychological issues, we are faced with a series of behaviors called self-harming behaviors, and naturally, people with a specific type of clothing, speech, and behavior may have behaviors and clothing that expose them to harm. Our vision is to help the student to choose what dress, speech and behavior will help him, the university and society.
Vice President of Culture and Social Affairs of Allameh Tabatabai University added: “Perhaps if the university wants to deal with people who do not pay attention to clothing norms according to university rules, it should introduce them to the disciplinary council, but we have considered the introduction of students as the last step.”
