Our national team will hold a wrestling review exercise this morning and will have a rest in the evening. The freestyle wrestlers will continue their training tomorrow, Monday, and will hold the last technique review exercise before being sent to Norway on Tuesday morning.
In this regard, Mustafa Mir Emadian, the coach of the national freestyle wrestling team, in response to the way the passengers of the world competitions were selected, said: “This team was selected from a correct and principled path and worthy wrestlers entered the national team through the selection cycle.” We had little opportunity to prepare for the World Championships after the Olympics, but the staff made plans so that the wrestlers could have the best recovery and preparation for the World Championships. We had two camps where the wrestlers reached the point of readiness, and we had a new, wrestling-related bodybuilding that went according to the team’s bodybuilding program. We hope to do something with these young people, Karistan, because we have to trust the young people so that we can get the best results.
According to him, 50% of the wrestlers are young and the average age of the team is 22 to 23 years. Federation officials are also looking at long-term planning to prepare the best wrestlers for the upcoming Olympics and World Championships. Also, the presence of cousins, Amir Mohammad Yazdani, Erfan Elahi and Nakhodi shows that good things will happen in the national team. This is the first time that 6 national wrestlers have participated in world competitions.
