Geek Bench removed the last four generations of Samsung’s flagships from its list

Samsung reportedly uses the game optimization service (GOS) to limit the performance of games and apps to prevent its phones from overheating, but apparently there is no such limitation for benchmarking applications. Now Geekbench has removed some of its flagships from its platform, accusing Samsung of dishonesty.

In response to this approach, Geekbench has decided to replace the Galaxy S22 series with some older flagships such as the S21, S20 and S10 series. Remove from Geekbench Browser list. Devices Galaxy Note And Samsung A Series Apparently not affected by the process of limiting the performance of apps, they will still be on the Geek Bench list.

The statement from Gibbonch said:

“Earlier this week, we learned about Samsung’s game optimization service (GOS) and how it was reducing the performance of games and apps. GOS decides to limit the performance of applications by using their identities (rather than their behavior). “We consider this move a kind of benchmark manipulation, because the main programs, such as geeking, their performance is not limited by this service.”

Samsung update will not affect Geek Bench’s decision

Samsung has promised in the future Update Release a new one where users can control the performance of the game optimization service. However, Geekbench’s current policy dictates that tampered devices will not be on the list even after the release of the patch that fixes the issue, so none of Samsung’s deleted handsets will be back on the popular benchmark site. It is not yet clear when the Samsung update will be released.

OnePlus It also announced last year that it was using optimization programs to increase battery life, and Geekbench responded. OnePlus 9 And 9 پرو Removed from your browser list.
