Godard and Pasolini to come to Berlinale 2022 / A film from Iran is not in the new festival list
A few minutes ago, the Berlin Film Festival published its list of films in the forum section and the classics of this year’s event.
Theater News Base: A few minutes before today, January 17, the Berlin Film Festival unveiled the list of films from the other two sections of this year’s event, while the name of the Iranian cinematographer is not included in these two lists.
In the “Forum” section of the festival, which will be held for the 52nd time this year, 27 films were introduced, including “The Poet” by Jan Amirbayev from Kazakhstan, “Camouflage” by Jonathan Pearl from Argentina, ” “Europe” by Philip Scheffner from France and Germany, “Warm by day, Cold by night” by Park Sung-Evil from South Korea.
The Berlinale also unveiled a list of seven films in the festival’s classics section, including “Mama Roma” by Pasolini, “Pale Flower” by Masashiro Shinoda, “Jokes on a String” by Jiri Montsell, “Our Music” by Jean-Luc Godard, “Tommy” Ken Russell, “River Suzhou” Lu Ye and “Brothers” Werner Hochbaum.
