Google announced the launch of the Pixel 6 series on October 18th
About two months ago, Google released images of the Pixel 6 and 6 Pro and provided some information about them, but did not fully disclose them. Now the company is holding a virtual ceremony on October 19 (October 27) at 20:30 Tehran time to fully introduce these smartphones has informed.
Google wrote on the page related to this ceremony:
“On October 17th, we will officially introduce the Pixel 6 and 6 Pro, products that create a new image of Google phones. These devices are powered by Tensor, Google’s first proprietary mobile chip. “They are fast, smart and safe and they will adapt to you.”
These smartphones come with upgraded cameras, and their main camera can absorb up to 150% more light than the previous generation, and the Pro model also offers users a 4x optical zoom. According to Google, the tensor chip improves image processing capabilities.
According to Google, users have to wait a day to charge these smartphones, however we do not know how many hours of charging we face in the real world. The Pixel 6 family phones use a 5G modem and are equipped with Android 12 operating system.
The Pixel 6 has a 6.4-inch OLED display with full HD resolution and 90Hz refresh rate, and the Pro version has a 6.71-inch OLED display with QHD + resolution and 120Hz refresh rate.
Despite this information, Google has not yet announced their technical specifications, and for example, we do not know the exact configuration of the tensor chip and its function. However, there are reports that it is equipped with two Cortex-X1 cores, which can not be completely trusted. The Pro model is expected to be priced at close to $ 1,000 and become a competitor to the iPhone 13 Pro.
