The government and parliament should allocate funds for air emergencies
Miadfar said: “We have predicted to have up to 70 air emergency bases in the coming months, but air emergency has a high cost and we can not expect to have one air emergency base in every city.”
The head of the country’s emergency organization said: “About 250 billion tomans have been spent for 50 air emergency bases, and we ask the government and parliament to consider a budget for air emergencies.”
According to Miadfar, the emergency services have carried out more than 3,000 missions since the beginning of the year, 68% of which were related to accidents.
He pointed out: “Another air emergency mission is to discuss the transfer of organs for organ donation. Since the beginning of the year, about 50 flights have been made to discuss organ donation.”

Miadfar said: “In the world, the credit of medical emergencies is allocated based on performance, but in Iran, it is not the case that we propose to improve the budget allocation process.”
According to him, we now have 24,000 personnel in the emergency department, of which 21,000 are operational personnel.
