In order to prevent forgery of documents and frauds in the field of real estate, the requirement to officially register real estate transactions was keyed. The plan, which after a long review in the parliament, is still the subject of discussion and review by the representatives in the legal commission and specialized working groups. In the recent meeting of the Legal Committee of the Islamic Parliament, this plan was re-examined and the supporters and opponents expressed their opinions.

Hossein Ali Haji Deligani, a member of the legal commission of the parliament, regarding the latest developments regarding the plan to require the official registration of real estate transactions in the parliament, said in a conversation with Fars news agency’s judicial reporter: The main goal of this plan is to invalidate normal real estate transactions, and if this goal is achieved, in addition to preventing Corruptions such as selling one property to several people, land grabbing will be prevented and it will be possible to apply system policies in the field of land and real estate such as preventing fragmentation or changing the use of agricultural land.

He continued: The plan to require the official registration of real estate transactions has been discussed for a long time in the legal commission and its specialized working groups, and now almost all members of the commission agree with its general principles.

This member of parliament clarified: The main logic of the plan was the discussion of discrediting unofficial documents or affidavits. In the meetings that were held recently in this regard, due to the concern of the Guardian Council regarding the inadmissibility of revocation of these documents, the issue of inadmissibility was raised in the courts, and finally the members of the commission voted again to revoke these documents.

Haji Deligani stated: One of the discussed issues was the one-time or gradual cancellation of non-official documents, which, considering that the representatives of the judiciary had significant opinions in this regard, so this issue was first discussed in the relevant working group. And then it will be placed on the agenda of the commission again.

Emphasizing the need to gradually remove unofficial documents, he said: Although the removal of unofficial documents is one of the most important discussions in the country and it is necessary to prevent its spread, it seems that by invalidating these documents at once, the government will not have much success in making the people’s documents official. will not

This member of parliament pointed out: It is necessary to gradually encourage people to obtain official documents in various uses such as agriculture and residential by facilitating the issuance of official documents and setting up incentive mechanisms.
