Nima Labkhandeh, the son of Hamid Labkhandeh, a well-known artist in the field of cinema, theater and television, confirmed this news to Mehr reporter: “My father had undergone surgery some time ago and after being hospitalized, he was taken home and hospitalized.” Unfortunately, he passed away on Saturday evening, January 7, due to complications from the surgery.

Regarding the time of the funeral of the late artist, he added: “The time of the ceremony will be announced soon.”

Hamid Labkhandeh was born in 1961 in Ahvaz. He graduated in acting and theater directing from the Faculty of Fine Arts, University of Tehran. He was one of the living students of Hamid Samandarian and after the death of Samandarian and also the living of Homa Rousta, he became the director of Samandarian Academy.

Smile He also worked in the field of television directing and created lasting works for the audience, including the popular television series “In Your Shelter” and “In My Heart”.
